How the ZQ60 IBM Process Works
Injection Phase
Resin pellets (HDPE, PP, PET, or engineering polymers) are fed into the plasticising screw, melted under controlled barrel-zone temperatures, and injected at up to 600 kN clamping force onto a core rod, forming a precise parison with excellent wall-thickness uniformity.
Transfer & Blow Phase
The servo-driven rotary table transfers the core rod 120 degrees to the blow station. Compressed air at 0.7–1.2 MPa inflates the parison against the mould cavity walls, replicating every detail of the bottle profile — including fine thread finishes critical for pharmaceutical cap fitment.
Cooling & Ejection
Chilled water flowing at 4 m3/h through the mould cools the bottle to dimensional stability within the 4-second dry cycle.
